Let's Animate It!

1. Make all layers visible by clicking on the eyeglasses on lyour layer palette. They are visible when there is no X through the eyeglasses. Your palette should look like this:



2. Shift+D on your image 6 times to make 6 copies. Save and close your original. Name the copies lightson, lightsoff, lightsred, lightsyellow, lightsblue, lightsgreen.

3. On your lightsoff image, On your lightson image, delete all layers above your lightsoff layer. Merge visible layers (Layers/Merge/Merge Visible). Save and close the image.

4. On your lightson image, merge visible layers (Layers/Merge/Merge Visible). Save and close the image.

5. On your lightsred image, On your lightson image, delete all layers above your lightsred layer. Merge visible layers (Layers/Merge/Merge Visible). Save and close the image.

6. On your lightsyellow image, On your lightson image, delete all layers above your lightsyellow layer. Merge visible layers (Layers/Merge/Merge Visible). Save and close the image.

7. On your lightsblue image, On your lightson image, delete all layers above your lightsblue layer. Merge visible layers (Layers/Merge/Merge Visible). Save and close the image.

8. On your lightsgreen image, On your lightson image, delete all layers above your lightsgreen layer. Merge visible layers (Layers/Merge/Merge Visible). Save and close the image.

** Open Animation Shop **

9. Open Animation Shop by clicking on Files/Jasc Software/Animation Shop. Start the wizardby clicking on File/Animation Wizard. Use these settings/options as the wizard asks you questions:

Same size as the first image frame.

Transparent
NEXT
Upper Left Corner
Canvas Color
NEXT
Yes, repeat
50
NEXT
Click on Add Image and add images in this order:
lightson
lightsoff
lightson
lightsoff
lightsred
lightsyellow
lightsblue
lightsgreen
File/Save image as a .gif in the best quality the wizard allows.
