Christmas Sprinkles Tutorial
1. Set your Paint Shop Pro preferences so that you view your rulers in pixels. File/Preferences/General Preferences. Now View/Rulers. You will be making sprinkles and tubing them, so you need to be able to space them evenly in the image.
2. Open a new image 200x100, transparent background. Your paintbrush tool should be set to these settings:
3. Place a green, yellow, and red horizontal sprinkle on the image, evenly spaced apart, as below.
4. Place a green, yellow, and red "left-slash" sprinkle on the image, evenly spaced apart, as below.
5. Place a green, yellow, and red "vertical" sprinkle on the image, evenly spaced apart, as below.
6. Place a green, yellow, and red "right-slash" sprinkle on the image, evenly spaced apart, as below.
7. Apply an Inner Bevel with these settings:
8. Your sprinkles should look like this:
9. If you want your sprinkles to have a shadow, apply a drop shadow with these settings:
10. Your sprinkles should look like this:
11. Export as a picture tube (File/Export/Picture Tube) with these settings.
