11. Selections/Invert and hit your delete key. This is what you are aiming for:



12. Let's use some more Christmas tubes from either the Jasc holiday tube set or a tube of your own. Use your tube tool with the setting below to add a few bows.



13. Use your tube tool with the setting below to add a few presents.



14. Add a new raster layer and name is scissors. Use your paintbrush set to a grey color, size=5, to draw a circle and a line like this: This is half a pair of scissors.



15. Use your wand to select the grey half scissors you just drew. Add an inner bevel with the settings as below.



16. While still selected, Control+C to copy it. Now paste as new selection. Image/Rotate the image left 90 degrees.



17. While the scissors side still selected, you can use your wand to move it where you want it, to make it look like a pair of scissors, like below:



18. Use your paintbrush with settings below to add a black dot in the middle of the scissors joint.



19. Add a metallic bevel, as below.



20. Merge visible layers.
